Dungeon Monitor Training

Are you interested in helping out at events? Want to learn what to watch for to keep scenes safe? Want to volunteer as Staff at events? This class is for you!

Come join us for a Dungeon Monitor Training. The Dungeon Monitor’s position goes beyond simply watching players. The Dungeon Monitor is a pivotal position in any dungeon and must possess a wide range of skills that include interpersonal and group communication skills, negotiation skills, knowledge of conflict resolution, an understanding of playroom etiquette and equipment safety, the ability to work with security issues, and the ability to be the first contact with EMS and law enforcement officials if need be.

We will go over:
– DM Mindset and Core Responsibilities
– Crisis Intervention in the Dungeon
– Dungeon First Aid (First Responders Strategies and Techniques)
– Common Accidents
– Distress, Fainting and Extraction Techniques
– Beyond First Aid u2014 Working with Emergency Responders

CPR Training is not included but is recommended.
