This class will give you the tools to improve your chances of connecting with the right people through intentional, informed vetting. We’ll cover the basics of vetting, explore methods for evaluating potential partners and dynamics, venues/organizations, and learn how to recognize common red flags before things go too far. Whether you’re new to the scene or refining your approach, this class will empower you to play smarter and safer.

I’m a genderqueer community contributor with over 15 years of experience in the lifestyle and have been active in the Charlotte scene since 2015. I began educating in 2020 through s-type content on social media, webinars, and books, and have since co-hosted panels and webinars on community engagement. Locally, I co-hosted the Submissive Roundtable at the LoftNC and led s-type intensive workshops with fellow educators. Most educational events I hold are online. I’m passionate about lifelong learning, personal growth, and creating inclusive spaces. As a member of the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and Disabilities communities, I welcome respectful dialogue and feedback to grow as an ally and advocate.

Please bring a dish or snack to share. Donations of water, soda, k-cups, paper products, cleaning supplies are always welcome.
Membership:
The LoftNC is as private members only BDSM club and was founded to provide a safe and secure environment for our members and guests. Please note we are a BDSM club NOT a Swing Club. The location of our club home is provided only to our members and attendees and is not available on any maps or search engines. Help protect the groups’ privacy…please do NOT provide the club location to anyone. Please direct interested parties to our website at http://www.loftnc.com. All ticket sales, membership dues and donations help defray the costs of keeping the LoftNC.
Paying your membership is a requirement as we are a private club with membership rules that allow us to have the type of activities we enjoy. Membership for the year is $30 and renews on your anniversary date. In order to expedite check-in at the event, we request that memberships be purchased in advance. Vetting
Because we are an educational venue we do our own vetting as we firmly believe that no one should be denied the ability to learn and grow. The LoftNC is a SAFE SPACE free from judgment and drama and we work very hard to maintain it as such.
Waivers:
If you have already completed your waivers you do NOT need to do them again. Information email including address provided with completed and accepted Waivers. Address to event will be provided via email from WaiverForever upon acceptance of completed waivers.

You may join our discord @https://discord.gg/EG89ddBtKs. Keep in mind you will remain in newbie status until membership is paid, waivers are completed, and you have attended an event. Discord is for chat between members, making friends and staying linked in with happenings at the LoftNC. There is a strict NO DRAMA or JUDGMENT rule on our Discord.
Alcohol:
BYOB/W (beer or wine only) – please drink responsibly. Please note if hard alcohol is brought to the LoftNC you will be asked to leave.
Prohibited Items
No drugs, not 420 friendly, no hard alcohol, and no guns of any kind including tasers are permitted on LoftNC property at any time. Bringing such items will result in your being asked to leave and your membership revoked.
